
Martha Nchimunya Kayuni


Martha Nchimunya Kayuni is a lecturer of archaeology in the Department of History and Archaeological Studies at the University of Zambia. She teaches archaeology and History.
She holds a Master's of Archaeology from the University of Zambia. Currently, pursuing a PhD at the Max Planck Institute of Geoanthropology in Jena, Germany, where she uses multidisciplinary methods such as ZooMS, Stable Isotopes, Ethnography, and Rock Art to analyse Zooarcheological questions.
Her research interests include archaeology, Rock Art, Human-Animal Interactions, Indigenous Knowledge Systems, Paleoenvironments, and Prehistoric Land-Use in Zambia and across Africa.
